General Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee company sales functions in order to accomplish the company’s mission statement and goals.
  • Develop annual sales plans and budgets in support of organizational goals.
  • Work directly with distribution partners to develop, negotiate, schedule, and implement annual sales goals, with post offs, market spend/splits, MBOs and incentives. These shall be based on the annual goals of the brewery, with goals established in advance.
  • Develop/review our distributor relationship plan to ensure positive relationships that support our sales and profit goals.
  • Participate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of strategic business plans and performance goals, short and long term objectives, plans, budgets, cost-controls, programs, policies, etc.
  • Govern the sales budget for all markets and sales representatives.
  • Work hand in hand with Marketing to recommend, and promote the launch of new and existing products.
  • Hire, train, coach, mentor, manage, and lead sales staff.
