- Travel to on-location shoots with the photography team, assisting with setup and equipment preparation
- Help maintain the studio's inventory of photography equipment and supplies, ensuring that everything is organized and in good working order
- Assist with organizing and scheduling shoots, coordinating with clients and other members of the photography team to ensure that everything runs smoothly
- Conduct research and gather information to support the photography team's creative process, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Problem-solve on the fly, adapting to unexpected changes in shoot locations, equipment malfunctions, or other issues that may arise during a shoot
- Assist with post-production work, including photo editing and file management
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to continually improve skills and stay up-to-date on industry trends
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicular transportation to travel to on-location shoots, as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of photography equipment for extended periods of time, and be comfortable standing or walking for long periods during on-location shoots
- Knowledge of basic photography techniques, equipment, and software, including lighting, camera settings, and photo editing software (Adobe Suite, Capture One)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
- A problem-solving mindset, with the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges and come up with creative solutions on the fly
- Local to Springfield, MO or willing to move here
- Prior experience in photography assisting and/or digital-teching is a bonus
- Good taste in music is also a bonus
- Salary: 40-65k
