This 11×17 print from Vahalla Studios (KC) on 100# French Paper Pop Tone, Lemon Drop paper is a proper slice of SGFC history and a tribute to some of it’s elders:
I wanted to create an image that represents the people and skills that make up Springfield Creatives. There are large letters “SC” that weave through a composite face of members at the time with glasses, an afro, beard/goatee, long hair, etc.
Creative industries that are represented are: jewelry, hats/fashion, paint, ink, writing, marketing, digital tech, Virtual Reality, web, and even furniture building.
Chest hair is made of ones and zeros. Stubble is made of Morse Code dots and dashes that spells out “Creatives” (just kidding I don’t know Morse Code, but that would be cool).
