We currently have an opening for an Advertising Designer. This position produces effective, high quality advertisements and multimedia elements while providing excellent customer service in a deadline-driven atmosphere.

This position produces effective, high quality advertisements and multimedia elements while providing excellent customer service in a deadline-driven atmosphere. Duties include:

• Create visually appealing and effective advertisements for all platforms under direction of the art director.
• Work with internal teammates, including Account Executive(s) and Account Coordinator, to produce high quality advertisements for all client initiatives.
• Create advertising campaigns.• Design in-house brand materials. This includes branded materials for all events, promotions, and advertisements for the 417 family of brands.
• Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) system to document and receive direction.
• Maintain knowledge of CRM to constantly improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Assist with the production process for print publications.
• Meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist with and art direct photoshoots.
• Write and source copy for advertisements including creative headlines, when needed.
• Additional duties as required.

• Excellent design skills, visual creativity, strong understanding of typography and layout design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different clients and target audiences.
• Ability to represent themselves and the company through the mission and core values of 417 through any interactions inside or outside of the office and online with co-workers and the public.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite design software Intrinsically motivated to work independently yet still be a team player
• Comfortable with following direction and receiving feedback as required
• Creative thinker who has the ability to offer input in meetings and confidence to share ideas.
• Passion for design, photography, and the client experience
• Comfortable managing a workload of multiple projects and competing deadlines
• Creativity in content creation, with experience in graphic design, video editing, and photo manipulation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask/effectively.
• Have a passion for excellence.

The ideal candidate will excel in professional communication, have a strong attention to detail, demonstrate good judgment and the ability to evaluate tasks and prioritize effectively, excellent design skills, visual creativity, and strong understanding of typography.

A Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience and education is required, with 1+ years of on-the-job experience.

Evaluations and Outcomes
The position will be evaluated after 90 days with annual performance reviews.

Working Conditions
Normal working conditions in an office environment absent extreme factors. Travel will be required, even after hours or on weekends, for local community events.
